Assistant Controller @ PE Fund 5B+ AUM - New!

Our client is Global Private Equity Investment Fund located in NYC area currently seeking to add a new professional to join their growing Finance Team. Ideal individual will be responsible for building out Financial Analysis, Accounting, Valuation, Corporate Finance and Financial Reporting.

This opportunity will report to CFO working with a Tax, 3rd Party Service Providers, and asset management/Deal Team - ton's exposure and excellent opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Build out Financial Operations and Transactions - Financials, Budgeting, Forecasting, Analysis
• Assist with distribution of investor allocations, waterfall calculations, carried interest/ incentive fees
• Communicate with JV Partners, Investors, Outside Service Providers, and Banks
• Support Front Office Investments
• Onboard New Investors and Investor Relations reporting
• Discuss Quarterly Property Performance
• Compile Financial Transactions info to complete Investor K-1s and Entity tax filings

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must - CPA preferred
• 8+years of Experience in Accounting/Audit within in a BIG 4 public accounting firm working on Private Equity Funds
• Strong GAPP and Financial Experience
