AVP Fund Controller @ High Growth PE Funds

A Boutique High-Growth Private Equity Firm is looking to hire a Assistant Controller, this role will report to CFO working with their Fund Finance, Tax, and IR Teams.

Will be responsible for Fund Financial reporting, Finance Analytics and Analysis. This professional with be instrumental in the growth of the fund financial operations. they are building out a new team and processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and rollout standardized Financial operating workflows, governance frameworks, and policies to replace prior processes
• Own the Fund Finance and and Financials including monthly close, and leadership reporting packages with a focus on automation and accuracy.
• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and variance analysis to drive executive decision-making.
• Manage annual funds audits, enhance internal controls, and oversee management agreements

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master's and CPA a plus
• 9+ years of Accounting experience including Private Equity Funds
• Strong in GAAP
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• MS Office proficiency--especially with Excel
• Problem solver with attention to detail
