Our client, a multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate, is hiring a Product Manager to join their eCommerce guest experience team in Glendale, CA.
As a Product Manager, you'll take on real ownership over complex problems, delivering technology solutions that empower our cast members to run the site, support our guests, and grow the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the vision for a small product area, aligned to broader team strategy.
- Prioritize within your scope using data, sound judgment, and clear tradeoffs.
- Own measurable outcomes for your product area and track performance against goals.
- Manage a roadmap for your area, translating strategy into clear priorities and tradeoffs.
- Bring together Guest/Stakeholder insight, data, and market context to shape decisions within your scope.
- Define problems and identify root causes for your area before committing to solutions.
- Make solid, well-reasoned product decisions, balancing value, usability, feasibility, and viability.
- Drive execution of your initiatives end-to-end, managing dependencies, risk, and scope.
- Ensure your features meet a strong quality bar and deliver a great Guest/Stakeholder experience.
- Use metrics, experimentation, and Guest/Stakeholder feedback to improve outcomes and inform next steps.
- Manage core stakeholders for your product area, communicating clearly in routine and semi-complex situations.
- Work autonomously within your scope, proactively surfacing issues and improvement ideas.
Qualifications:
- Previous product management experience, ideally in a digital or eCommerce environment
- Experience translating strategy into requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make tradeoffs using data and sound judgment
- Experience working with Agile software development methodologies and practices, including but not limited to Atlassian Tools (Jira & Confluence)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail, eCommerce, or consumer products experience
- Experience with product analytics and A/B testing tools
- Education or experience in a technical discipline (computer science, software engineering, decision science, AI/ML
