Compensation: $80,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience

About the Role

Grayson Search Partners is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist for an established organization in Sugar Grove, IL. This direct-hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong background in billing and accounts receivable.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of billing and/or accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with Deltek or Vantagepoint is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and review customer invoices for accuracy and timely submission
• Handle accounts receivable activities, including payment posting and account maintenance
• Enter and maintain billing, financial, and customer information
• Review accounts and research discrepancies or billing issues
• Assist with account reconciliations and month-end activities
• Provide support with timesheet entry and review
• Work with internal teams to resolve billing and timekeeping questions
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Assist with reporting and other accounting-related projects
• Provide additional support to the accounting team as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of billing, AR, or accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable
• Deltek or Vantagepoint experience strongly preferred
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
• Strong Excel and data-entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation & Schedule

• $80,000–$85,000 annually, based on experience
• Direct-hire opportunity
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Located in Sugar Grove, IL
