Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Calibration & Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will calibrate, test, adjust, and repair a wide range of electronic, electromechanical, optical, pneumatic, and mechanical measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards. Working under moderate supervision, you will follow detailed technical specifications, perform troubleshooting, and manipulate technical data to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calibrate electronic test equipment, signal generators, and mechanical/pneumatic/hydro-mechanical instruments according to set standards and procedures.
  • Set up calibration sequences, methods, and specifications using blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective components on test equipment, such as pressure gauges and tension meters.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance on electronic and mechanical systems using defined technical plans and diagrams.
  • Gather, format, compile, and analyze technical data using established mathematical formulae and procedures.
  • Monitor quality standards in accordance with statistical process control procedures and flag potential areas of concern or process improvements.
  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to entry-level technicians as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on technical experience; vocational training, technical education, or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Core Technical Skills:
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools.
  • Prior maintenance experience (mechanical, electromechanical, or electronic systems).
  • Direct experience with calibration procedures, sequences, and measuring instruments.
  • Basic knowledge of technical systems, diagnostic techniques, and standardized quality procedures.

  • Strong willingness to learn, adapt to new tasks, and follow detailed procedures.
  • Intermediate problem-solving skills to interpret guidelines and resolve routine technical issues.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and explaining technical data.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate oversight while exercising good judgment in daily tasks.
