Amazon Channel Manager

Location: Tonawanda, NY, 14150

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000/year + Benefits + Relocation assistance

Type: Fulltime, Direct hire


Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Amazon Channel Manager to manage and grow the company’s Amazon Seller Central marketplace. The role focuses on account health, high-SKU catalog management, listing optimization, advertising, inventory, profitability, and cross-functional eCommerce initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day management and growth of the Amazon Seller Central marketplace.
  • Monitor account health, performance metrics, compliance, disputes, policy violations, and IP claims; prepare Plans of Action when required.
  • Create and optimize product listings, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and enhanced product pages.
  • Conduct keyword research and apply Amazon SEO best practices.
  • Partner with Content Specialists on new product launches and listing improvements.
  • Develop marketplace growth strategies using sales trends, customer behavior, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with Amazon Advertising representatives to improve campaign performance, ROAS, and profitability.
  • Evaluate pricing, competitive positioning, and new product opportunities.
  • Recommend products for FBA while maintaining target profit margins.
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment to maintain product availability.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and other teams on availability, compliance, and product quality.
  • Prepare monthly business reviews covering marketplace performance, metrics, opportunities, and initiatives.
  • Lead and provide direction to marketplace support specialists.
  • Support cross-functional eCommerce initiatives and digital commerce growth.


Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 2+ years hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience.
  • 2+ years in eCommerce or digital marketplace environments.
  • Experience with Amazon account health, performance, compliance, and policies.
  • Experience managing large/high-SKU B2C product catalogs.
  • Strong experience with Amazon listings, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and enhanced product pages.
  • Knowledge of Amazon SEO, keyword research, and content optimization.
  • Experience developing growth strategies using sales data, analytics, and competitive research.
  • Experience managing or collaborating on Amazon Advertising campaigns.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • ERP/CRM experience; NetSuite is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing Amazon policies, trends, and priorities.
  • Cross-functional experience with Marketing, Purchasing, Operations, and Customer Service.
  • Adobe Photoshop, basic HTML, webpage creation, or digital merchandising experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively.
