Job Title: Chief of Staff
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $140,000 - 150,000
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and parental leave
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted partner to the President and senior leadership team
- Help translate organizational priorities and strategic goals into actionable plans and deliverables
- Drive cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution
- Track key projects, deadlines, and deliverables while ensuring accountability across teams
- Identify roadblocks, gaps, and competing priorities and proactively help resolve them
- Prepare leadership for meetings, decisions, and strategic discussions through research, analysis, and briefing materials
- Manage follow-up from leadership meetings and ensure action items are completed
- Develop and improve processes, systems, and operating rhythms to increase organizational effectiveness
- Coordinate across departments and connect information to help leadership make informed decisions
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives as priorities evolve
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, project management, executive operations, or a related field
- Experience partnering directly with senior executives or organizational leadership
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to influence, collaborate, and drive accountability without direct authority
- Highly proactive with strong judgment and follow-through
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to see both the big picture and the small details
