Claims Manager | Construction

A growing insurance and risk management organization is seeking an experienced Claims Manager to join its Long Island team. This role is ideal for a claims professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

The position offers the opportunity to work across claims management, client advisory services and business development, with significant room for professional growth as the organization expands.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Serve as a senior claims resource for clients, providing guidance on complex claims issues and helping develop effective claims strategies.
• Leverage experience with General Liability, Workers’ Compensation and/or Commercial Auto claims to support client needs.
• Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted point of contact for claims-related questions, reporting and ongoing service needs.
• Participate in client presentations and prospective-client meetings, helping communicate the organization’s claims capabilities and value proposition.
• Partner with internal leadership to identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support new business initiatives.
• Contribute to the continued development of the claims function as the local operation grows.
• Take on increasing leadership responsibilities over time, including the potential to build and manage a claims team.

What We’re Looking For

• Management-level experience within a TPA, insurance carrier, brokerage or similar claims environment.
• Strong working knowledge of General Liability, Workers’ Compensation and/or Commercial Auto.
• A polished, confident communication style with the ability to interact effectively with clients, prospects and internal stakeholders.
• Someone who is commercially aware and comfortable participating in business-development activities.
• A self-starter who enjoys operating in a growing environment and taking ownership beyond a narrowly defined job description.
• A candidate interested in long-term career progression and the opportunity to take on greater leadership responsibility.
