About the role

A leading global supply chain services and technology consultancy is hiring a Client Partner to own one of its most strategic and fastest-growing client relationships — a major global technology company.

The Client Partner is effectively the CEO of a portfolio of business. You'll drive client growth, relationship development, financial integrity and delivery quality across every engagement, working with senior executive stakeholders and leading complex, multi-dimensional programmes that blend consulting with large-scale technology deployment.

This is a high-energy leadership role for someone who grows relationships by bringing new strategies and genuinely innovative thinking to the table.

Key responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of business within one of the firm's most strategic and fast-growing relationships
  • Sell SAP and broader supply chain and related services into the client
  • Develop new relationships across the client organisation and convert them into opportunities and closed deals
  • Manage all commercial aspects of the relationship — contracts, pricing, profitability, revenue and profit forecasting
  • Plan and forecast accurately to hit net revenue and margin targets
  • Build and drive account and growth plans, processes and strategies that improve client results while expanding the portfolio
  • Deepen your knowledge of the client's business and industry, serving as their first-line consultant
  • Lead and direct client and capability teams in a matrixed environment, ensuring productivity, service and quality
  • Partner with the sales team on proposal content and strategy for new business pitches
  • Onboard new client relationships effectively
  • Stay current with industry trends to proactively sell fit-for-purpose solutions and innovation

Qualifications

  • Relevant undergraduate degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Exceptional client relationship skills and business acumen — able to earn Trusted Advisor status
  • Experience managing a large global technology client relationship highly desired
  • At least 10 years working with senior-level client contacts
  • At least 5 years' recent experience growing and managing complex client relationships
  • Experience operating in a matrix environment, leading teams in a fast-paced and evolving setting
  • Strong operational acumen — running a client's business to financial and satisfaction targets
