Accounting Advisory Partner

Premier Accounting Advisory Boutique seeks a Partner for their growing NYC Office. Technology (AI and Saas) is at the forefront of their worldwide integrated workforce, and this is an opportunity make an impact and author your future as part of senior management. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to build something and work in many industries including Technology, Biotech, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Crypto, etc. (both PE-owned and/or Pre-IPO).

Responsibilities:

• Manage client relationships and act as the main point of contact on day-to-day issues.
• Project and stakeholder management.
• Run teams that provide technical accounting advice on complex client issues.
• Assist clients with the implementation of new accounting standards (both US GAAP and IFRS) or the design and implementations of Internal Controls.
• Provide thought leadership with regards financial reporting and transaction/IPO readiness.
• Supervise and mentor team members, both locally and abroad.
• Stay up to date on developments in accounting standards and regulations.
• Play a key part in business development.

Qualifications:

• Passion about what you do
• A big rolodex
• Superior Technical Accounting and Transaction skills or SOX/Internal Controls
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines
• Attention to detail and ability to thrive both independently and as well as together with teammates across the globe
• Experience and familiarity with a broad range of industries including those such as tech, life sciences, manufacturing
• 20+ years of audit and accounting advisory, IPO readiness and transaction support
• CPA or Chartered Accountant
• Experience with technical accounting, internal controls, financial reporting and finance transformation, and financial systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
