Role Description The Commercial Closer is responsible for managing commercial real estate transactions from inception through post-closing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion. This full-time hybrid role is based in Marlton, NJ, with the flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with lenders, attorneys, brokers, and clients to gather documents; reviewing title commitments, surveys, and closing instructions; preparing and balancing settlement statements; and facilitating escrow disbursements. The Commercial Closer will schedule and conduct closings, resolve issues that arise before or at settlement, and ensure all recording and funding requirements are met. The role also involves maintaining detailed transaction records, delivering responsive customer service, and supporting continuous process improvements within the commercial closing team.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Candidates should possess Closings and Deal Closure skills, with experience coordinating commercial real estate settlements and bringing complex transactions to completion.
  • Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and a client-focused approach throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Candidates should possess Escrow-related skills, including handling funds, preparing settlement statements, and ensuring accurate disbursements and reconciliations.
  • Relevant experience in title insurance, commercial real estate, or mortgage lending is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with closing and title software are preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple transactions simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in real estate, finance, or paralegal studies are a plus.
