Are you an experienced Commercial Lines insurance leader who knows how to build strong teams, strengthen client relationships, and turn strategy into results?

Hardenbergh Insurance Group (HIG) is looking for a Commercial Lines Division Manager to lead our Business Insurance – Client Services Division in Marlton, NJ, with a hybrid work schedule.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization in a key leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to shape operations, develop talent, influence client strategy, and contribute to the future growth of the agency.

What You’ll Do:

As Division Manager, you’ll play a critical role in leading our Commercial Lines team and driving both operational and client success.

• Lead & Develop: Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing insurance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive Performance: Oversee staffing, onboarding, performance management, employee development, workflows, and annual division goals.
• Strengthen Relationships: Build and maintain strong carrier relationships while staying informed on industry trends, market conditions, and evolving client needs.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Serve as a key liaison between Sales and Marketing to ensure teams are aligned and working toward shared goals.
• Shape Client Strategy: Support and participate in Agency Solutions initiatives that align with client objectives and HIG's growth strategies.
• Support Growth & M&A: Contribute to M&A initiatives, including operational integration, process evaluation, and identifying strategic growth opportunities.
• Partner with Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, special projects, and opportunities that help move the organization forward.

What You Bring:

We're looking for a proven insurance leader who combines technical expertise, business judgment, and a passion for developing people.

Required:

• 7–10 years of leadership experience
• 7–10 years of insurance experience
• Active New Jersey Property & Casualty Producer License
• Valid driver's license and required auto liability insurance

• Excellent communication and relationship-management abilities
• Strategic thinking and sound problem-solving skills
• A commitment to confidentiality, data privacy, and professional integrity
• The ability to balance day-to-day operational leadership with long-term strategic thinking
