Construction Project Manager

Dobco is a leading New Jersey general contractor with 35+ years of experience building schools, courthouses, municipal buildings, higher education facilities, military projects, and other large scale public works. With 27+ active projects throughout New Jersey, we have a strong pipeline of work and continued opportunities for experienced construction professionals.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects ranging from $30M to $250M. The ideal candidate has experience independently managing projects of at least $20M.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Oversee project budget, schedule, contracts, and overall performance
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and owners
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project documents
• Track costs, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project progress
• Lead project meetings and maintain communication with the project team
• Identify and resolve issues impacting cost, schedule, or quality
• Work closely with the Superintendent to ensure successful field operations
• Maintain project documentation and ensure timely project closeout

Qualifications

• Experience independently managing construction projects of $20M or more
• Commercial, institutional, or public works construction experience preferred
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
