Contract Specialist

A leading professional services and consulting firm is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to support contract drafting, negotiation, risk assessment, and contract administration activities. This role works closely with business leaders and external clients to ensure agreements align with organizational objectives and risk management standards.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including NDAs, master service agreements, consulting agreements, joint venture agreements, and construction-related contracts.
• Analyze contractual terms and identify potential business and legal risks, providing recommendations to mitigate exposure.
• Partner with leadership and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts support business goals and comply with company policies.
• Manage multiple contract matters simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Serve as a professional point of contact for clients and business partners during contract negotiations.
• Support special projects and other contractual initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Engineering, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and interpreting commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with experience interacting with senior leaders and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative team player with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Occasional travel may be required.
