Corporate M&A Associate

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Corporate M&A practice of a prestigious international law firm in San Francisco.

Working as part of a highly regarded transactional team, you'll advise major corporates, private equity sponsors and other sophisticated clients on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. The role offers exposure to public and private acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other strategic corporate matters, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on high-profile, market-leading transactions.

Requirements

• Classes of 2023–2024 or equivalent level of experience.
• Experience advising on public and/or private M&A transactions, joint ventures and other strategic corporate matters.
• Strong transactional experience with excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and contribute effectively to complex, fast-moving transactions.
• Strong communication and client management skills with a commercial approach to delivering advice.
• Ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and cross-border teams.
