Critical Care Nurse Educator

We're #hiring a Critical Care Nurse Educator. This position provides an opportunity for an experienced critical care nurse to combine clinical expertise with a passion for teaching, professional development, and improving patient outcomes.

The Critical Care Nurse Educator will support the development and competency of nursing staff through education, clinical instruction, mentoring, and evidence-based practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and provide educational programs for critical care nursing staff.
• Provide clinical instruction, orientation, mentoring, and ongoing professional development.
• Assess educational and competency needs within the critical care environment.
• Develop and evaluate competency-based education and clinical skills programs.
• Promote evidence-based nursing practice and patient safety.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes.
• Serve as a clinical resource and professional role model for critical care nurses.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and implement improvements as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Minimum 5 years of critical care experience.
• Applicable teaching and clinical experience.
• Current New York State RN license required.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required.
• Certification in a specialty area preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
