Full job description
We represent a global P+C carrier looking to hire a Global Compliance Director based in New York City.
The role is responsible for the design, implementation, oversight, and continuous enhancement of global compliance and ethics framework across its property and casualty insurance and reinsurance operations and its investment management activities.
Education & Professional Credentials
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law and active membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state jurisdiction.
- Compliance, privacy, ethics, governance, cybersecurity, risk-management, or related professional certifications are preferred.

Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in compliance, legal, regulatory, risk management, ethics, governance, privacy, cybersecurity governance, or related disciplines, within the property and casualty insurance, reinsurance, or investment management industries.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise compliance programs for a multinational property and casualty insurance or reinsurance organization with an affiliated investment management function.
- Experience leading investigations, ethics programs, compliance risk assessments, monitoring and testing activities, and executive reporting.
- Experience interacting with regulators, executive leadership teams, governance committees, and boards of directors.
