Enterprise Resources Planning System Analyst

Full job description
The role requires a combination of business-process knowledge, technical ERP expertise, and strong communication skills. The analyst will develop a thorough understanding of site operations, translate business requirements for the implementation team, and ensure both organizations remain aligned throughout the migration.
This is a 3-6 month contract position with the potential to convert to full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the site’s Business Readiness Owner and primary point of contact for the ERP implementation.
- Develop a detailed understanding of operational and business processes across supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and related functions.
- Act as the liaison between internal stakeholders and the external implementation partner, translating requirements and closing communication gaps.
- Support users with system navigation, training, reporting requests, technical issues, and enhancement opportunities.
- Collaborate with ERP and Business Systems teams on sitewide issues, initiatives, integrations, and process changes.
- Support all phases of the ERP implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, data migration, go-live, and post-launch support.
- Create and maintain policies, procedures, forms, training materials, and other controlled documents affected by ERP-related process changes.
- Promote integrated processes, streamlined data flows, system continuity, and continuous improvement.
- Provide regular, comprehensive updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience; equivalent experience may be considered in place of a degree.
- ERP experience across supply chain, manufacturing, and finance modules, preferably with Deltek Costpoint.
- Experience supporting ERP migrations, integrations, or large-scale application implementations.
- Working knowledge of software or solution development lifecycle methodologies.
- Experience coordinating across internal business teams and external implementation partners.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate operational requirements into clear technical and functional needs.
- Experience working within a U.S. public company and familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and government-contracting requirements.
Preferred Experience
- Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
- Experience supporting organizational readiness, user training, and change management during an ERP implementation.
