Environment, Health and Safety Manager

EHS Manager needed for a manufacturing company in Irvine, CA!

Location: On site

Salary: $80,000- $130,000

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, training, and programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
• Lead and maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems.
• Conduct EHS audits, risk assessments, and corrective action programs.
• Manage regulatory reporting, including OSHA logs, Tier II, SARA, permitting, and air quality requirements.
• Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, recycling, and sustainability initiatives.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are completed.
• Manage workers' compensation claims and emergency response programs.
• Analyze EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead EHS committees and serve as the primary EHS representative for employees, customers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Support departmental risk reduction and compliance programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership or people management experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
