About the Role

As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting environmental field investigations and site assessments, performing soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water sampling, and supporting remediation projects and environmental compliance activities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental field investigations and site assessments.
• Perform soil, groundwater, sediment, and surface water sampling.
• Support remediation projects and environmental compliance activities.
• Document field observations and maintain accurate field records.
• Prepare technical reports and assist with NJDEP regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience performing NJDEP-regulated field work.
• Familiarity with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, remedial investigations, and site remediation projects is preferred.
• Working knowledge of NJDEP regulations and guidance.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites throughout New Jersey.
