Estate Planning Attorney

Robert Half is partnering with a well-established boutique law firm in the North Shore suburbs of Chicago to identify a Trusts & Estates Associate Attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking sophisticated estate planning work, direct client interaction, and mentorship in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents
• Advise clients on estate planning, tax minimization, asset protection, and wealth transfer strategies
• Handle trust and estate administration matters, including asset collection, valuation, and distribution
• Prepare federal and state gift and estate tax returns
• Represent clients in probate proceedings and related matters
• Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in trusts and estates law
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on sophisticated estate planning and administration matters

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in Illinois
• 2+ years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters
• Strong drafting, organizational, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple matters while providing exceptional client service
