Job Title: Facilities & Workplace Coordinator
Location: San Francisco, CA- 94105 (On-site, Monday–Friday)
Max Pay Rate $33 Per Hour on W2
Duration: 12+ Months Contract with Possible Extension
Role Summary
• As the Facilities & Workplace Coordinator, you are at the heart of our office operations. You will manage daily infrastructure, vendor relationships, and building systems to ensure a safe, functional, and exceptional onsite employee experience. This role blends hands-on maintenance oversight with administrative coordination to support a seamless work environment aligned with our fast-paced culture.
Key Responsibilities
• Building Operations & Ticketing: Oversee routine maintenance and conduct systematic inspections of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Monitor and triage facility requests through Slack, Email and ServiceNow to ensure timely resolution. Complete repairs and inspections of our facilities and equipment as needed. Conduct daily site inspection walk throughs.
• Vendor Management: Serve as the primary onsite contact for facilities repair and maintenance vendors. Obtain, review and present facilities and vendor repair proposals to present to management where needed. Ensure routine maintenance services meet company and industry standards.
• Space Planning & Event Support: Execute and assist with desk allocations, office moves, and conference room readiness. Manage event setups/teardowns and deliveries as needed.
• Safety, Security & Admin: Support compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
Required Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in executing facilities repairs and maintenance, FM coordination, workplace operations, and/or maintenance administration.
• Proficiency with facility management software or ticketing system (Jira, ServiceNow, SpaceIQ) and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work outside of regular business hours when needed.
• Excellent communication skills and a hospitality-focused mindset for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. and walk floors regularly for inspections and setups.
Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent
