Field Deployment Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, integrate, and commission full robotic systems at customer sites
• Coordinate hardware-software integration, including sensor integration, communication links, and safety system setup
• Diagnose on-site issues, identify root causes, and work with R&D teams to resolve them promptly
• Produce deployment plans, interface documentation, and on-site technical manuals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Robotics, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields (Master's preferred)
• 5–10 years of experience in system integration and deployment for robotics, autonomous driving, or embodied AI
• Familiar with behavior tree/state machine task orchestration, motion control, perception (SLAM), and safety systems
• Hands-on experience with sensors (camera/LiDAR/IMU/force sensors), drivers, and data pipelines
• Willing to work on-site in the U.S.
• Chinese-speaking candidates preferred for effective communication with the China-based R&D team
