Role Overview
As a Global People Partner at IPC, you will support the delivery of people priorities across designated business areas, partnering with managers and employees to provide practical HR guidance, strengthen employee experience, and help implement global People programmes.
This role is a 12-month maternity cover.
The role is suited to an HR Business/People Partner who can balance strategic partnership with operational execution, acting as a trusted advisor to Executive and CEO-2 leaders. Through strong commercial acumen, workforce insights and thoughtful challenge, you will influence talent, organisation design, workforce planning and leadership decisions that enable the successful delivery of IPC's business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Partnering: Act as a trusted advisor to Executive and CEO-2 leaders, influencing business decisions through a people lens. Partner with stakeholders to shape organisation structures, workforce strategies, succession plans and leadership effectiveness initiatives that drive business performance and long-term organisational health.
- Organisation Design & Workforce Planning: Partner with senior leaders to assess organisational effectiveness, workforce capability and talent needs. Support organisation design reviews, succession planning and workforce planning activities to ensure teams are structured to meet current and future business objectives.
- Leadership Effectiveness: Coach and support Executive and CEO-2 leaders on employee engagement, team effectiveness, performance management, organisational culture and leadership practices, helping strengthen leadership capability across IPC.
- People Insights: Leverage workforce data, engagement findings, talent metrics and external market trends to identify risks, opportunities and recommendations. Present insights to leaders and influence decision-making through data-driven people strategies.
- Employee Relations: Lead on complex employee relations matters, within your functions, deferring others to the Regional People Partners. Provide timely advice, escalating complex or high-risk cases where appropriate, and helping ensure alignment with applicable employment requirements and IPC policy.
- Talent Acquisition and Onboarding: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment campaigns specific to your functional needs, interview processes, hiring manager coordination, new hire orientation and onboarding plans.
- Talent Management: Drive talent discussions with Executive and CEO-2 stakeholders, supporting performance management, succession planning, talent reviews and leadership development initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and bench strength.
- Talent Development: Support stakeholders in identifying appropriate training, skills and development solutions for employees and teams.
- Change and Transformation: Partner with business leaders during periods of growth, transformation and organisational change. Assess people impacts, influence decision-making, develop change plans and support leaders in driving successful adoption and engagement.
- People Programmes: Help implement and manage IPC People programmes and initiatives across IPC’s People agenda, including wellbeing, inclusion, ESG, reward and recognition.
- Benefits and Absence Management: Support Regional People Partners on complex queries relating to benefits, absence, return-to-work transitions, long-term sickness and parental leave, partnering with subject matter experts as needed.
- Annual People Processes: Support annual performance, compensation, calibration, talent and succession planning processes, ensuring managers understand timelines, expectations and required outputs.
- Project Work: Contribute to People projects and initiatives as required, supporting delivery, coordination and stakeholder follow-up.
- HR Knowledge and Compliance: Maintain awareness at a global level of employment legislation, HR trends and internal policy changes, sharing practical insights and escalating issues where additional expertise is required.
