Director of Strategy

A global leader in innovation, manufacturing, and consumer and industrial products, with trusted brands and technologies used around the world. The organization is a leading Medical Device company that is looking for a Director of Strategy.

lead the organization's health and wellness strategy across North America. This is a highly strategic Director-level individual contributor role with significant visibility and influence across the organization.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong corporate healthcare background, exceptional stakeholder-management skills, and experience working within a complex organization—ideally within manufacturing, chemicals, consumer products, or another large corporate environment.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement Health North America strategies, policies, and practices in partnership with Safety, Health & Environment, Security, Facilities, HR, Legal, and business leadership.
• Lead Health and Wellness initiatives across North America while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and corporate standards.
• Oversee programs including:
• Occupational Health & Medicine
• Medical Response
• Travel Health
• Pandemic Preparedness
• Employee Wellness
• Mental Health
• Health Promotion
• Workplace Hygiene
• Manage external health providers, partnerships, and service agreements.
• Provide strategic and technical guidance related to medical insurance and employee health and well-being initiatives.
• Consult on health-related needs across administrative, R&D, and production sites throughout North America.
• Represent Health North America in regional leadership meetings and cross-regional governance.
• Drive transparency, operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement across health programs.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and technology to enhance employee health and wellness.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Clinical or advanced healthcare education, including one of the following:
• Nurse Practitioner
• Medical Doctor / Physician
• Physician Assistant
• Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• Occupational Health certification required.
• Strong corporate healthcare experience with an understanding of organizational dynamics.
• Experience within a large, complex organization; manufacturing, consumer brands, chemicals, or similar industries strongly preferred.
• Exceptional stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Strategic thinker who is also comfortable being hands-on and operational.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept through execution.
• Digitally savvy and comfortable leveraging technology for communication, reporting, and program management.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically.
