Head of Health – North America
Location: Rocky Hill, CT

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Head of Health – North America to lead and develop regional health strategies, policies, and programs across administrative, R&D, and production sites.
This is a strategic and operational leadership role responsible for employee health, occupational medicine, wellness, medical response, mental health, health promotion, travel health, pandemic preparedness, and related health programs across North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Health North America management strategies, policies, and practices.
- Lead Health and Wellness programs across North America while ensuring compliance with local regulations and organizational standards.
- Oversee programs including:
- Occupational Health & Medicine
- Medical Response
- Travel Health
- Pandemic Preparedness
- Employee Wellness
- Mental Health
- Health Promotion
- Hygiene
- Manage external healthcare providers, vendors, and agreements.
- Provide technical guidance regarding medical insurance and employee health initiatives.
- Assess health needs across administrative, R&D, and production locations throughout the region.
- Represent Health North America in regional leadership meetings and cross-regional governance.
- Ensure transparency in reporting, operational excellence, and cost efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation across health programs.
- Partner closely with Safety, Health & Environment, Security, Facility Management, business units, HR, and Legal.
- Lead initiatives that support broader business objectives and employee well-being.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant healthcare experience.
- Must be one of the following:
- Medical Doctor (MD)
- Nurse Practitioner (NP)
- Physician Assistant (PA)
- Master's degree in Public Health (MPH)
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration
- Related master's degree
- Occupational Health Certification required.
- Strong corporate/organizational experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and corporate environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive strategic initiatives.
- Strong combination of strategic thinking and hands-on operational leadership.
- Comfortable using technology for communication, reporting, and program management.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%.
