HR Process Documentation Specialist (Contract) - La Jolla, CA - 3-6 months - Pay Rate 28-32/hour

Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations, process improvement, technical writing, or instructional design.
- Proven experience creating and maintaining SOPs, workflow documentation, training materials, and process maps in a corporate or nonprofit environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HRIS, and HR Business Partnering, with excellent interviewing and documentation skills.
- Partner with HR leaders and subject matter experts to document workflows, decision points, system touchpoints, and current-state processes across all HR teams.
- Create, revise, and standardize SOPs, process maps, job aids, training materials, and onboarding resources while consolidating legacy documentation.
- Identify process gaps and standardization opportunities, establish governance for documentation maintenance, and support knowledge transfer at project completion.
