Key Responsibilities
- Partner with manufacturing leaders and managers to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance.
- Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct and lead workplace investigations, ensuring timely and compliant resolution of employee concerns.
- Provide expertise on California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, leaves of absence, and company policies.
- Support time and attendance administration, employee coaching, and workforce management initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational development programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Support talent management initiatives including succession planning, employee development, and performance reviews.
- Partner with leaders to foster a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
- Strong experience handling employee relations issues, workplace investigations, and performance management.
- Experience supporting managers within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working with non-exempt employee populations.
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and employment compliance.
- Experience managing time and attendance issues and advising leaders on workforce matters.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Preferred Background
- Manufacturing industry experience required.
- Experience supporting operations, production, or plant environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with front-line supervisors and managers.
