Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with manufacturing leaders and managers to provide day-to-day HR support and guidance.
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters, performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct and lead workplace investigations, ensuring timely and compliant resolution of employee concerns.
  • Provide expertise on California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, leaves of absence, and company policies.
  • Support time and attendance administration, employee coaching, and workforce management initiatives.
  • Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Support talent management initiatives including succession planning, employee development, and performance reviews.
  • Partner with leaders to foster a positive, productive, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • Strong experience handling employee relations issues, workplace investigations, and performance management.
  • Experience supporting managers within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience working with non-exempt employee populations.
  • Strong knowledge of California labor laws, wage and hour regulations, and employment compliance.
  • Experience managing time and attendance issues and advising leaders on workforce matters.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

Preferred Background

  • Manufacturing industry experience required.
  • Experience supporting operations, production, or plant environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with front-line supervisors and managers.
