Human Resources Generalist Bilingual Spanish


  • Minimum of 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in Manufacturing from CA to understand labor and federal laws in CA.


The Bilingual Spanish HR Generalist supports day‑to‑day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, job description management, compliance, and performance support. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and supervisors, ensuring clear communication, consistent policy application, and a positive workplace environment.


Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support to employees and supervisors in both English and Spanish.
  • Manage employee relations cases, conduct investigations, document findings, and support corrective actions.
  • Create, update, and maintain job descriptions; ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper FLSA classification.
  • Support performance management processes, including coaching documentation and performance improvement plans.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and manage end‑to‑end onboarding documentation.
  • Interpret HR policies and provide guidance to employees and leadership.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Ensure accurate HR documentation, employee files, and confidential records.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and communication efforts.
  • Assist with DEI projects and HR‑related programs as needed.
  • Collaborate with operations and safety teams on compliance and workplace standards.
  • Use HRIS systems to manage employee data, reporting, and workflow tasks.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of HR experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • HR certification preferred (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state labor laws.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office.
  • Strong communication, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
