Position Summary
We are seeking motivated, licensed HVAC Service Technicians and Installers to support residential and commercial HVAC customers throughout Connecticut. Candidates may specialize in service, installation, or both and should demonstrate strong technical skills, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service.
Service Technician Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and service residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service.
- Communicate system findings and repair recommendations to customers.
- Respond to emergency/on-call service needs as required.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Keep vehicles, tools, and work areas clean and organized.
HVAC Installer Responsibilities
- Install HVAC equipment, ductwork, controls, and related components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings.
- Perform retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.
- Coordinate with project managers, customers, and team members.
- Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and applicable codes.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site.
Required Qualifications
- Current Connecticut D1, D2, S1, S2, S4, or S10 Trade License.
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills, including email and mobile applications.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Authorized to work full-time in the United States.
- Employment and education verification required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, basements, confined areas, rooftops, and at heights.
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, climb, and walk on uneven terrain.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
