Duration: 12+ Months (Contract/Temp with the possibility of extension)

Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday (11am-7:30pm)

Pay Range: $44.00/hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior HVAC Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations and ensure the timely availability of materials required for production.

The ideal candidate will have prior material planning, MRP, supply chain, logistics, or production planning experience and be comfortable working with data and ERP systems. Experience with SAP is preferred, but candidates with other ERP experience who are highly tech-savvy and willing to learn will also be considered.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys data analysis, problem-solving, production planning, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain an efficient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute material requirements plans (MRP) to ensure materials and work-in-process are available to support production schedules.

Plan and coordinate the ordering of materials required for manufacturing operations.

Maintain accurate material planning information within ERP systems.

Monitor material availability and identify potential shortages or supply constraints.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding production schedules, priorities, and material requirements.

Work with suppliers to ensure resources and schedules align with business and production plans.

Manage material changes and support efforts to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.

Coordinate material requirements with packaging, graphics, operations, marketing, and planning timelines.

Analyze supply chain data and develop solutions to address planning or material-related issues.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects related to logistics and supply chain operations.

Maintain accurate records and demonstrate strong attention to detail in all planning activities.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues and support business objectives.

Qualifications Required:

Prior experience in Material Planning, MRP, Supply Chain Planning, Production Planning, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to analyze data, evaluate alternatives, and make effective decisions.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred.

Preferred:

Experience with SAP or another ERP system.

Experience with MRP/material requirements planning.

Knowledge of supply chain processes and interactions.

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

Experience coordinating with suppliers/vendors.

Experience working with supply chain data and analytics.

Familiarity with Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus.
