We're seeking an experienced Facilities & Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve the equipment, machinery, and facility systems that support our 173,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility.


This role is ideal for a highly skilled maintenance professional with a broad mechanical aptitude, diverse technical skill set, and multi-craft maintenance experience. This job involves mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, facility maintenance, welding, fabrication, equipment installation, and continuous improvement projects.

SCHEDULE

This is a work week of approximately 45-50 total hours. Monday to Friday is a 4am shift. Saturday is a 6am-noon shift paid at time and a half.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on warehouse equipment, industrial machinery, and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical equipment
  • Perform general building maintenance, including plumbing, lighting, doors, hardware, and minor carpentry repairs
  • Weld, fabricate, modify, and rebuild equipment as needed
  • Assemble and install equipment, workstations, shelving, racking, and other warehouse infrastructure
  • Support facility maintenance, operational support tasks, equipment improvement projects, and special projects as needed
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement long-term corrective solutions
  • Coordinate outside contractors and specialty service providers when appropriate
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop while promoting a safe work environment
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and facility operations
  • Responsible for snow plowing/removal, when applicable


QUALIFICATIONS

Ideally, this person will have 5+ years of experience in:

  • Industrial or commercial maintenance
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  • Hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Welding and light fabrication
  • Basic plumbing
  • Basic electrical troubleshooting (120V/240V)
  • Carpentry or general building maintenance
  • Reading equipment manuals, schematics, or technical drawings


Successful candidates are dependable, self-motivated, safety-conscious, and comfortable managing a variety of maintenance tasks independently.
