IT Support Analyst – Broadcast
Location: Stamford, CT 06902 – Fully Onsite
Contract: 5+ Months
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Rotating Schedule | Nights, Weekends & Holidays Required
Position Overview
We are seeking an IT Support Analyst – Broadcast to provide onsite technical support for a 24/7 broadcast operations environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT, networking, desktop support, and broadcast technology, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, remaining calm under pressure, and communicating technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical users.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Fully onsite position in Stamford, CT
- Rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Weekend coverage approximately every 2–3 weeks
- Overtime may be required; this is a non-exempt position
- Occasional domestic and international travel required
- After completing training and becoming familiar with required SOPs and systems, travel may be approximately 4–5 days every 4–5 weeks
- Travel may include supporting live sporting and broadcast events
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7/365 onsite IT and technical support for a broadcast operations environment.
- Maintain the operational status of IT and broadcast-related infrastructure.
- Provide desktop and local application support.
- Troubleshoot issues involving:
- Network connectivity
- Local servers
- Printers
- Remote access
- File shares
- Workstations and applications
- Travel to support broadcast sporting events domestically and internationally.
- Analyze, segment, isolate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and client service issues.
- Support Apple macOS/OS X and Microsoft Windows desktop/server environments.
- Linux/Unix experience is a plus.
- Escalate issues to the appropriate technical team when they fall outside the scope of the role.
- Become familiar with department-specific applications and workflows.
- Learn and support commonly used hardware, software, and technical equipment.
- Follow established standard operating procedures.
- Accurately document and track incidents and service requests using designated ticketing systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Support Desk Manager.
Required / Preferred Technical Skills
- Knowledge of the broadcast industry and broadcast technology
- Strong desktop and technical support experience
- Experience with Apple macOS/OS X
- Experience with Microsoft Windows desktop/server
- Working knowledge of networking concepts, including:
- TCP/IP
- LAN/WAN
- VLANs
- DHCP
- DNS
- Routing
- Switching
- Firewalls
- Linux/Unix knowledge is a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office for technical support, reporting, and documentation
- Experience using ticketing/service management systems

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferred
- 1–3 years of related IT/support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Requirements
- Valid U.S. driver's license required
- Valid passport preferred due to potential international travel
