Laboratory Analyst

Job Title: Research Associate Scientific III

Locations: Deerfield, IL 60015

Duration: 12 months

Pay Rate : $40-43/HR

The position requires relevant laboratory skills, writing skills, and computer skills plus teamwork/interpersonal skills. Education and/or Experience: Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.

Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline with at least 3-6 years lab experience or MS with at least 1-2 years of experience.

Research lab experience may include research in GMP/QSR environment, cross-functional teamwork, and independent experimentation in method development and validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with 3–6 years of laboratory experience, or Master’s degree with 1–2 years of experience.
• Experience in research, method development/validation, GMP/QSR environments, and independent experimentation preferred.
• Strong laboratory, technical writing, computer, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently execute routine and non-routine research, experiments, and technical projects with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical recommendations, troubleshoot problems, and improve experimental methods and processes.
• Apply knowledge of pH, temperature-controlled reactions, chemical reactions, biomaterials, and related disciplines.
• Support biomaterials manufacturability and scale-up from laboratory to production.
• Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate experimental results for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Identify alternative methods and technologies to improve products and processes.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, QSR, safety, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external testing, including communication, shipments, timelines, budgets, and documentation.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute technical expertise to product development and validation activities.
