Junior Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Hire) | Fully Onsite
Pay: $26-27 per hour
We're seeking a Junior Staff Accountant with 1+ years of hands-on accounting experience who is eager to learn, highly motivated, and ready to grow their accounting career.
Must have strong Excel skills (vlookup/pivots) and strong understanding of debits/credits.
What You'll Do:
- Process full-cycle, high-volume Accounts Payable for multiple business units
- Review invoices, vendor setup (W-9/1099), coding, and payment processing
- Reconcile A/P aging reports and related balance sheet accounts
- Process corporate credit card expenses, reimbursements, petty cash, and mileage
- Prepare journal entries, assist with month-end and year-end close
- Research and resolve A/P discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Support audit preparation and provide backup to the accounting team as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP required)
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
