Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team of travel advisors and independent contractors (ICs). In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our team, offering daily support, strategic guidance to close business, and technical troubleshooting. You will ensure operational excellence, drive preferred partner sales growth, and maintain strict adherence to booking policies using our core systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Serve as the primary daily contact for travel advisors and ICs, providing support and hands-on help to close sales.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily workflows, problem-solve operational hurdles, and enforce compliance with company standards and booking policies.
- Systems & Data Management: Oversee complete accuracy in booking procedures, specifically mandating the usage of the TRES CRM system.
- Tech Implementation: Lead the rollout and team adoption of new tools and systems as they come online, including modern online booking platforms.
- Training & Compliance: Ensure the advisory team is fully trained and up-to-date on all industry regulations, company policies, and internal workflows.
- Sales Collaboration: Partner with the VP of Leisure and the Sales/Marketing Manager to implement sales strategies, monitor sales goals, and focus team efforts on expanding preferred partner sales.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Proven background in leisure travel operations management is strictly required.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on, working knowledge of Sabre GDS and TRES / ClientBase CRM systems.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and support a remote network of independent contractors and employee advisors.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills to resolve booking issues and client escalations independently.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to align remote teams and cross-functional managers.
