Bilingual Senior Manager - Patient Education & Support Services (LMSW/LCSW/LMHC)

📍 Hybrid | Manhattan, NY

💰 $80,000-$90,000 + Comprehensive Benefits

🕒 Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM-5:30 PM

✈️ Approximately 15% domestic travel

A nationally recognized nonprofit healthcare organization is seeking a Bilingual Senior Manager to join its Patient Education & Support Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed behavioral health professional who is passionate about supporting patients and families, facilitating support groups, providing education, and helping expand access to critical healthcare resources.

This is a newly created position with significant opportunity for long-term growth.

What You'll Do

  • Provide psychosocial support, education, and resource navigation to patients and caregivers in both English and Spanish.
  • Facilitate virtual and in-person patient and caregiver support groups.
  • Connect patients with community resources, financial assistance programs, and supportive services.
  • Coordinate patient education initiatives, publications, and outreach programs.
  • Develop educational materials and support resources in both English and Spanish.
  • Partner with internal departments to expand outreach within underserved communities.
  • Track program outcomes and prepare reports.
  • Support patient education events and represent the organization at conferences and community programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the organization's database.
  • Assist with budgeting, program planning, and special projects.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC license
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
  • Minimum 5 years of social work or behavioral health experience
  • Experience providing direct psychosocial support to patients and families
  • Experience facilitating support groups
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining professionalism

Preferred

  • Hospital, medical, oncology, or other clinical healthcare experience
  • Experience within a nonprofit or healthcare organization
  • Experience with CRM, EMR, or clinical databases (Epic, REDCap, HubSpot, etc.)
  • Case management or patient navigation experience
