Machine Technician

Specialize in the manufacturing of inflatable seals and bladders for simple to complex sealing, clamping/holding, and lifting applications. Inflatable seals are made in house by hand to our customers’ exact specifications.

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician (compression molding) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating molding machines and ensuring the production of high-quality rubber molded products. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, working well with hands, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

JOB DUTIES:

• Follow weekly production scheduled set forth by Operations Manager.
• Prepare raw material as needed for jobs.
• Operate molding machines and equipment to produce molded parts according to specifications.
• Fabricate unique rubber products by hand utilizing a variety of methods pre and post molding.
• Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify the dimensions and tolerances of molded components.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in training sessions for new machinery or processes Contribute to the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System providing collaborative thoughts for continuous improvement.
• Perform product re-work or custom customer requirements as necessary on products.

EXPERIENCE:

• Proficiency in quality inspection techniques and use of precision measuring instruments is essential.
• Background in rubber or fabrication and manufacturing processes will be advantageous.
