Maintenance Technician
Location: Vista, CA
Pay: $29.80/hr
Schedule: Full-time, On-site
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep a regulated manufacturing facility running safely and efficiently.
This role is a mix of facility maintenance and production equipment support, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, cleanrooms, and critical utilities.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, doors, and building systems
- Support production and manufacturing equipment
- Monitor cleanrooms, purified water systems, and temperature-controlled areas
- Respond to equipment and facility breakdowns and help minimize downtime
- Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
- Support equipment setup, changeovers, calibration, and validation activities
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service vendors when needed
- Follow GMP, FDA, ISO, OSHA, and site safety requirements
- Help identify recurring equipment issues and improve reliability
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance experience
- Experience with HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or other regulated environments is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical certification or associate degree is a plus
