Manager - Industrial Distributor

Role Description: The Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in South Windsor, CT. The role oversees day-to-day operations, monitors performance, and drives initiatives to support overall business success. Responsibilities also include working closely with sales and customer service to align product offerings with market needs, support key customer relationships, and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall business activities, including inside & outside sales, office, accounting, & warehouse functions to serve industrial B2B customers.
• Support proactive commercial efforts to grow business revenue.
• Develop strong-performing team players
• Ensure high customer relations & satisfaction
• Recommend & implement actions to maximize sales, increase margins, and expand market share
• Lead by example, create a positive, dynamic, and fun work environment

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven B2B industrial experience, preferably in a commercial role in an industrial distribution environment
• Proven ability to have a direct effect on positive revenue growth and improving overall customer satisfaction
• Previous experience with technical selling and product support is a plus, including industrial equipment, cutting tools, or other industrial solutions
• Proven financial acumen
• Strong written & verbal communication & English grammar skills
• Ability/desire to quickly learn new processes and systems
• Problem-solving, multitasking, and a sense of urgency
• Solid computer skills
