Metal Lab Technician (Manufacturing environment)

We are seeking a hands-on Metal Lab Technician to support our Finishing Department in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for titrating plating chemicals for nickel and copper, laboratory testing, chemical analysis, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Electroplating environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical and physical testing for metal finishing processes
• Maintain lab equipment, chemical inventory, and production bath records
• Troubleshoot lab equipment and support production operations
• Prepare chemical additions and bath make-ups
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience in titrating chemicals or electroplating preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and data entry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a factory environment
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus
