Summary:

Develop and fully implement transition of ERP system. Collaborate with key members to support the implementation of the ERP system including producing ERP engagement processes and procedures. Collaborate with scheduling to tune the desired ERP output reports. Data mine and maintain spreadsheets as appropriate for those areas where standard ERP reports are insufficient. Collaborate with project managers to make certain that all materials are ready for production on assigned jobs per schedule information. Provide resource demands for Production work centers.


Pay Range: 90-120k


Essential Functions:

  • Identifies and reports conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity
  • Daily status department schedule demands against commitments and milestones, Maintain current ERP system schedules with identified bottlenecks. Early detection.
  • Schedules for raw materials, component purchases, and services according to demand and scheduled product release dates.
  • Plans, schedules, and releases Production WIP travelers according to time allocations and available resources.
  • Provides deliveries dates to support sales, order acknowledgement, and project start-up according to current workload within the defined lead time and signals over allocated work centers.
  • Fosters reports and clear communication between Sales, Production, and Quality Departments to maintain work center, production and delivery milestones.
  • Works with sales and operations to provide timely feedback regarding all schedule change requests so as to impact schedule risk on existing commitments.
  • Establishes a working line of communication with all company functions
  • Reviews, identifies, and resolves material shortages and notifies the party responsible.


Other Functions

  • Updates WIP schedules due to Engineering, supplier, customer changes, resource, and out of scope inputs.
  • Provides project status to Business Development and customers as appropriate.
  • Collaborates with project stakeholders to mitigate and minimize disruptions to schedule demand.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None


Education and/or Experience: AA degree from two-year college or university with a major in Business or related field and two to five years related experience as Scheduler.


Language Skills: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ERP software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current Driver’s License


Desired Requirements:

Minimum five years’ experience working in Manufacturing

Minimum eight years’ experience in scheduling

Understanding dynamics of low volume, high mix Manufacturing
