Mechanical Designer / Mechanical Drafter

Location: Austin, TX or San Jose, CA

We are seeking both Junior (1-4 years) and Senior (5-10 years) Mechanical Designers/Drafters to join a growing engineering team.

The successful candidate will support the development of engineered products by creating accurate manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation while working closely with Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings using SolidWorks
• Develop 3D models and detailed component drawings
• Produce and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Support ECO/ECR and revision control processes
• Apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
• Work closely with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
• Support prototype builds and product validation activities
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to ensure designs are production-ready
• Maintain engineering documentation within PDM/PLM systems
