Hays is partnering with a Global Real Estate & Project Management firm to recruit several MEP Project Managers to support a portfolio of high-profile capital construction projects across Fremont, San Mateo, and Berkeley, CA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering complex infrastructure, building systems, renovation, and campus upgrade projects for leading corporate clients.

Your New Role

As the MEP Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and infrastructure-related projects from inception through closeout. Working closely with clients, design consultants, contractors, and internal project teams, you will be responsible for managing project scope, budgets, schedules, procurement, construction execution, commissioning, and stakeholder communication. The role is ideal for someone with a strong technical MEP background who enjoys overseeing complex building systems and infrastructure upgrades within occupied environments.

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of experience in construction project management, MEP project management, owner's representative, consulting, or general contractin
• Strong technical understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
• Experience managing infrastructure upgrades, central utility projects, campus improvements, or major building renovations
• Ability to coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and end users
• Strong budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract management skills
• Experience delivering projects in corporate, technology, healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or commercial environments preferred
• PMP, CCM, PE, LEED AP, or similar certifications are a plus
