Non-Equity Partner – Defense/Transactional (Portable Book)

A growing, multi-office litigation and transactional firm is adding a Non-Equity Partner to its Santa Monica office. This is an open mandate — we're looking for a strong lateral partner in any Defense or Transactional practice area, not a specific niche.

You'll bring your own book of business and run it with full firm support: an in-house marketing and PR team dedicated to growing partner books, a flexible hybrid schedule, and the option to bring an associate or paralegal with you if you have one. Solo practitioners are welcome to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• Active state bar license in good standing
• Portable book of business of $500,000+
• Defense or Transactional practice background (any specialty)
• Comfortable managing client relationships independently; prior book-building experience a plus

COMPENSATION RANGE

• The annual salary for this position is between $250,000 – $500,000+ annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
