Practice Manager | Am Law Firm | Chicago
A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Practice Manager to partner with firm leadership on strategic, operational, and talent-related initiatives.
This is a highly visible role supporting attorney development, staffing, practice operations, and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with practice leadership on operational and strategic initiatives
- Support attorney staffing, development, and performance processes
- Monitor practice metrics, utilization, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with HR, Recruiting, Finance, and other business services teams
- Drive operational improvements and team effectiveness
Ideal Background
- Practice Management, Attorney Development, Legal Talent, Professional Development, Legal Operations, or related law firm experience
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Experience supporting attorneys, practice groups, or business operations
