Principal Product Manager – AI Infrastructure / Data Center Firmware/semiconductor/silicon

About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead product definition and management for an innovative AI infrastructure platform. This role will own the software, firmware, and AI/ML product roadmap for a silicon-rooted platform designed to secure, optimize, and manage data center and AI infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in BMC/RMC, data center platform management firmware, embedded systems, hardware security, and server infrastructure, along with strong product management and customer-facing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the SW/FW/AI-ML product roadmap, including BMC/RMC, platform management, hardware security, and on-chip AI/ML inference.
• Translate product vision into PRDs, requirements, acceptance criteria, and shippable product capabilities.
• Partner closely with hardware, firmware, software, ASIC, security, QA, and marketing teams.
• Define product requirements from concept through release and make prioritization and roadmap decisions.
• Work directly with hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, and CSPs to understand technical and integration requirements.
• Lead customer and partner discussions with senior engineers and architects.
• Track industry standards, ecosystem developments, and competitive products.
• Support product launches, technical messaging, collateral, and customer-facing materials.
• Collaborate with hardware product management to align software/firmware and system-level hardware roadmaps.
• Help establish and scale the Product Management function, including mentoring future PMs.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of Product Management experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, firmware, or systems software.
• Proven experience shipping firmware or software products in a hardware-adjacent environment.
• Principal- or lead-level experience owning a product line or platform.
• Strong expertise in BMC/RMC and data center platform management firmware.
• Understanding of out-of-band management, boot firmware, platform telemetry, and server/rack-level infrastructure.
• Strong technical foundation in embedded software, firmware, systems architecture, or related disciplines.
• Experience working directly with hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, or major cloud customers.
• Ability to work effectively with firmware, software, hardware, ASIC, and security engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, documentation, and PRD-writing skills.
• Strong product vision and ability to convert complex technical concepts into a clear product roadmap.
