Role: Product Owner

Location: Charlotte, NC/Jersey City, NJ/NYC, NY

Salary: Market Rate

Job Description:

Own and support a Document Management platform from a product and requirements standpoint

Gather and document business and regulatory requirements from business owners and stakeholders

Work closely with business users and compliance teams to understand operational and regulatory needs

Translate business and compliance requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria

Define and document regulatory compliance scenarios eg audit retention access traceability

Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business and regulatory priorities

Ensure requirements align with BFS regulatory standards and controls

Support development and UAT teams with requirement clarifications and walkthroughs

Proven experience in a Product Owner or requirements focused role

Strong experience with requirements gathering and user story creation

Hand son experience working with Document Management or content centric platforms

Ability to convert complex business and regulatory needs into actionable user stories

Experience collaborating closely with business owners and SMEs

Solid understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and compliance driven use cases

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

BFS domain knowledge Banking Financial Services

Experience working in regulated environments

Exposure to regulatory or compliance related initiatives

Not looking for Project Manager Scrum Master

Primary focus on Product Ownership requirements and regulatory compliance
