🔄 Potential full-time opportunity based on business needs

About the Role:

We’re looking for a Post-Production Technical Support Specialist to support film and television production and post-production teams in a fast-moving media technology environment.

This is not a traditional IT help desk role. You’ll troubleshoot real production and post-production issues, help teams stay on schedule, and work with evolving media technologies and workflows.

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot production and post-production technical issues and identify root causes.
  • Support media ingest, dailies, editorial, VFX, conform, finishing, color, and file transfers.
  • Support editors, post-production teams, production teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Work with media tools and technologies such as Avid, Aspera, Colorfront, Baselight, Premiere, Frame.io, and similar platforms.
  • Learn new tools and workflows quickly.
  • Explore automation and AI to improve media workflows.
  • Provide responsive support in a production environment where timing is critical.

What We’re Looking For

3–5+ years of relevant experience in areas such as:

  1. Post-Production Engineering / Support
  2. Media Systems or Media Operations
  3. Production Technology
  4. DIT / Digital Imaging
  5. Post-Production Facilities

  • Strong experience with film/TV post-production workflows and troubleshooting is especially important.
  • You should be comfortable diagnosing problems, working under pressure, communicating clearly, and taking ownership of issues from start to resolution.

Nice to Have

  • Colorfront
  • Aspera
  • Avid Media Composer
  • Baselight
  • Adobe Premiere
  • Frame.io / Autodesk PIX
  • MAM, SAN/NAS, or cloud media workflows
  • Automation, scripting, or AI experience

Location: Los Angeles — approximately 3 days onsite initially.

Schedule: 40 hours/week with occasional evening, weekend, or after-hours support as the team moves toward 24/7 coverage.

Interested? If you have a strong post-production background and enjoy solving technical problems, we’d love to hear from you.
