Role: Project Manager
Location: Stamford, CT
Salary: $160,000-$200,000 + Benefits
Allegiance Group are partnering with a leading General Contractor based in Stamford, CT, to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their team.
The successful candidate will take a key role in delivering a large-scale multifamily development, working closely with the project team, subcontractors, consultants, and senior leadership to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a significant project while joining an established and growing General Contractor with a strong reputation in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day management of a large multifamily construction project.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall project plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Manage project costs, including forecasting, procurement, and budget control.
- Lead regular project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.
- Work closely with the Superintendent to coordinate field operations and project delivery.
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
- Manage subcontractor performance and maintain strong working relationships.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and schedules.
- Support the project through closeout, turnover, and completion.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of construction project management experience, ideally with a General Contractor.
- Proven experience managing multifamily, residential, mixed-use, or large-scale commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and cost management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Autodesk, or similar construction software is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
The Ideal Candidate:
- We're looking for a driven and commercially minded Project Manager who can take ownership of a complex project and drive it through successful delivery.
- You should be confident managing subcontractors and project stakeholders, comfortable working alongside a Superintendent and senior leadership, and capable of identifying challenges before they become issues.
- Previous experience delivering large-scale multifamily projects will be highly advantageous.
